In 2023, Athelas (originally a remote monitoring company) merged with commure to form a $6bn healthtech behemoth. Today, they focus on creating AI tools for clinics - integrating with EMRs to help handle billing, note taking, scheduling, and more. After the merger, they are growing fast, using AI to build an even bigger "healthcare infrastructure company". (June 2024)
