Here's two interesting nuggets of trivia about Cerebral: first, they reached a $4.8Bn valuation in 2021 after only two years of existence, and second, US Gymnastics Olympian SImone Biles is one of their investors. Talk about star power and rocketship growth. And it shows - they've hired thousands of providers, and treated hundreds of thousands of patients since inception. The downside: mental health treatment startups is a highly competitive space, with several other "unicorns" (billion dollar companies) also competing in this space, such as pandemic darling Headspace and other players like Lyra Health.
