Clover Health IPO'd back in 2021 by merging with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) and has been in and out of the news for various reasons over the past few years. What's clear, however, is their reach is massive - over 250,000 customers combined on it's insurance and non-insurance products. One other thing to note - they operate in the Medicare Advantage space, an area with lots of competition from both startups and traditional insurers. (November 2023)
