In the age of telehealth, Curai Health's approach to virtual care is not strictly telehealth based (though they do offer virtual visits too) - rather, they also incorporate chat and text functionality to enable asynchronous medical care. This potentially vastly expands the reach of clinicians - and the patients those clinicians can reach. They've raised venture capital from some of biggest names in Silicon Valley, and also partnered with traditional care orgs like Tufts Medicine to integrate into their apps. A pretty cool expansion of virtual care beyond just telehealth services. (August 2024)
