According to Handspring Health, "1 in 5 children in the US have a diagnosable mental health disorder...[yet] systemic barriers have made it impossible for most families to find timely or high-quality mental healthcare." This is pretty alarming, and the space where Handspring Health is building, combining both virtual and in person care. On a broader scale, we've been noticing a trend of companies moving from "virtual care" to "virtual first care" - an important distinction as hybrid treatment flows combining both telehealth and in person care continue to mature.
