Here's a mindblowing stat about aging in the US: in 2020, 1 in 6 people were over 65. In 1920, this was less than 1 in 20. Here's another one: from 2010-2020 alone, the number increased by 15.5 million. With this huge spike in the aging population, senior living communities have grown massively in popularity. The reality: huge communities of seniors need access to medical care.
