Enter Sesame, offering transparent pricing and self-pay services. Even with insurance coverage, Sesame claims most of their patients are still electing to pay out of pocket - something that would be unheard of even 10 years ago. And they seem to be on to something huge - they've partnered with the likes of Costco to provide care services to its members. (May 2024)
