As a Physical Therapy Assistant at our comprehensive approach of physical therapy, pain management, IV therapy, and weight loss in Astoria, Atlantic Ave, Bard Ave, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Crown Heights, Flatbush, Forest Hills, Jackson Heights, Manhattan, Morris Park Avenue, Mott Haven, South Bronx, Queens Village, Staten Island, Whitestone, Williamsburg and Woodhaven, NY, you are a vital part of our healthcare team. Working closely with Physical Therapists, you’ll assist in delivering the treatment plans designed to help our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your role directly impacts the speed and quality of recovery, making it essential to our commitment to excellent patient care.
Job Responsibilities: • Assisting the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans. • Guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities. • Utilizing modalities such as heat, cold, and ultrasound as directed. • Accurately documenting patient progress and communicating this to the supervising Physical Therapist. • Maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
