A European HealthTech star, Ada has received funding from the likes of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to grow its symptomatic assessment and statistical prediction engine. Currently available in several languages, it's already been approved as a medical device by EU regulatory authorities, and has wide-ranging partnerships across industries, such as their joint partnership with Pfizer to identify patients at high risk of COVID progression. The overall symptom assessment space, however, is far from a sure thing, as evidenced by the recent trials and tribulations of its competitor Babylon Health. (August 2023)
