Overview: ArchCare cares for people of all ages and faiths where they are most comfortable and best able to receive it – at home, in the community and in nursing homes. Responsibilities: - Implements administrative goals and policies and interprets objectives of Nursing Services to the nurses on the units. - Assist in ensuring appropriate staffing is met during shift. - Rounds the nursing units daily to ascertain the condition and needs of the residents and informs Director of Nursing of all changes and related problems. - Observes nursing care of the residents to ensure that orders are carried out as directed and treatment ...

ArchCare, the healthcare system of the Archdiocese of New York, provides comprehensive care to individuals of all ages and faiths, focusing on those who are frail or vulnerable. Their services include nursing homes, home care, short-term rehabilitation, specialized hospitals for children and adults with special needs, independent housing programs, and end-of-life care. In March 2021, ArchCare partnered with Montefiore Health System to enhance care coordination and support for the elderly through the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). In September 2024, ArchCare was selected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to participate in the Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model, aiming to improve care coordination and support for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. ArchCare’s mission is to provide faith-based holistic care, enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. (February 2025)
