What You'll DoPerform patient care - taking vitals, patient history, triaging, and administering medications as prescribed by the medical providerAssist with procedures such as incision and drainage, lacerations, and wound care, carry out ear lavages and run EKGsAdminister medications via intradermal, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes.Conduct lab testing - urinalysis, urine pregnancy test, blood glucose testing, mono-spot, rapid strep, influenza testing, and rapid HIV testing.Perform urine drug screen collections, breath alcohol testing, and other occupational health ...

The good - Carbon Health boasts a sprawling primary care, urgent care, and telemedicine network cofounded by an experienced team (Eren Bali - Udemy). The bad - they've not been immune to the economic downturn, laying off 25% of its staff in 2022. With that being said, they were extremely active in distributing COVID-19 tests and supporting vaccine administration across California, and have been known to integrate AI into its workflows to make clinicians' lives easier. They seem to be trying to right the ship - here's to hoping they do it. (August 2023)
