About the Role:
Cityblock is seeking a Senior Manager of Workforce Planning & Analysis on our Operations Excellence team. Operations Excellence at Cityblock is accountable for standardizing efficient and effective healthcare operations across the markets in which we operate. Additionally, the team is accountable for continuously improving areas of opportunity and deriving strategic insights and opportunities that impact market performance and the member experience.
The Senior Manager of Workforce Planning & Analysis will lead the development of Cityblock’s workforce management program by creating the right visibility of workforce management through pulling data and insights, building and feeding engagement “models” to identify areas of opportunity, facilitating discussions with operators and business owners to determine priority levers to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Cityblock’s supply (available appointments) and demand (member needed appointments) staffing equilibrium.

- Lead the workforce management planning process and drive cross-functional teams to create near-term and long-term plans leveraging the appropriate analytic tools and assets

CityBlock's focus on underserved communities has led them on quite the journey - over half a billion dollars raised and a multi-billion dollar valuation. At some point or another, however, profitability is expected to follow rapid expansion, and recent layoffs at CityBlock puts emphasis on their focus of achieving profitability and limiting costs. However, Medicaid expansion/coverage has been shown to be more tricky than Medicare advantage - it will be critical to monitor how CityBlock continues to navigate these challenges moving forward.
