    Job Description

At Collective Health, we’re transforming how employers and their people engage with their health benefits by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology, compassionate service, and world-class user experience design.

As the Financial Analyst, your mission is to help transform Collective Health’s Financial Planning and Analysis function. In doing so, you will closely collaborate with stakeholders who oversee the Customer Experience function. You will also play a key role in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports. You must be intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and able to identify solutions to complex problems (frequently with limited or incomplete data), then roll-up your sleeves to drive implementation and track your work’s impact.

    What you'll do:

    • Work directly with the Sr. Manager to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
    • Enhance existing reports and develop additional recurring reports including dashboards, monthly metrics, and Board materials
    • Provide ad-hoc analyses and special project support for Finance leadership
    • Identify new systems, tools, and processes to scale your support
    • Manage ...

    The Real Dill ☘️

The employee benefits pool was an attractive area to monetize for startups - if insurers weren't willing to pay, it makes sense that employers would be looking for ways to attract (and retain) top talent, with benefits being a huge portion of it. Countless startups have ridden the employee benefits wave to superstardom (see: Hinge Health), but there is a downside - when the economy experiences a downturn, benefits are one of the first things on the chopping block. Collective Health is not immune to this, as shown by recent layoffs. However, it's hard to believe that employee benefits will totally go away - and there's always going to be a space to manage these benefits more efficiently and effectively. (August 2023)
