Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Courier Health is on a mission to solve one of the biggest and most meaningful opportunities in healthcare: reinvent how people living with chronic and rare diseases are supported.
We are building the future of patient engagement for life sciences companies. Our software is leveraged by biopharma companies to support patients in their complex journey from diagnosis to initiating and remaining on therapy to achieve optimal health outcomes.
About the role
Courier Health is looking for our first DevOps Engineer to own and operate our cloud infrastructure from development to production. You will work closely with the Application and Platform Engineering Teams to design, build, and operate the infrastructure that makes Courier Health the industry’s leading Patient CRM. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems and applications.
What you’ll do
- Own the infrastructure platform that Courier Health engineers use to develop, test, deploy, and operate their code, including both third-party services and internal systems.
- Work ...
The Real Dill ☘️
Here are some crazy stats from Courier Health: "50% of patients drop off of therapies within three months, resulting in millions of patients losing access to critically important — and often life-saving — medicines prematurely...and two out of every three patients that discontinue therapy do so because of an administrative issue such as incomplete patient forms, insurance reimbursement or copay failures, and pharmacy coordination issues." This is absolutely wild - patients with rare and chronic diseases have enough to worry about, and the impact of everything else surrounding getting treatment has huge impact on patient outcomes. Courier Health is looking to reduce this challenge through its patient experience platform, focusing on pharmaceutical companies and BioTechs as its main clients. Basically, they integrate different data sets to create a unified patient journey to improve tracking, management, and collaboration with patients. This helps both sides - patients get more continuous treatment, and pharmaceutical companies retain "customers" who are using their treatments. They are relatively young, but the need is there.
