According to evolvedMD, "60 percent of children and young adults with major depression do not receive any treatment." Wow. The mental health space itself has become inundated by direct-to-consumer options (like Headspace) and employee benefits options (like Lyra Health) but what's interesting about evolvedMD is they've integrated behavioral health treatment directly with primary care. This makes sense as often care workflows run through a patient's primary care provider as the "care navigator" or "gatekeeper". Any support here to help these front-line clinicians makes a lot of sense, especially with such a huge unmet need in the mental health space.
