As the Head of Communications, you will spearhead strategic communications, thought leadership initiatives, and media and PR campaigns, elevating the FOLX story in the press and increasing consumer awareness. This job is for you if you have a deep passion for serving the LGBTQIA+ community, a dedication to pushing the envelope with groundbreaking narratives, and an ability to be agile in dynamic conditions.You’ll collaborate with our marketing and research team, executives, brand and channel partners, and talented teammates across the organization to share the FOLX story and drive awareness of and engagement with the brand.

Digital Health was meant to democratize care for all, and FOLX is putting that purpose to the test by leveraging digital health for the LGBTQIA+ community through unique offerings such as hormone replacement therapy, PrEP prescription, general, and sexual health services. With the US at a crossroads surrounding access to care for LGBTQ+ related services (and even some bills specifically targeting transgender care, with some states even going as far as making it a Class C felony to provide gender-affirming care), there are some external risks to the company separate from the typical HealthTech and startup risks you typically see. Separate this from the mission, however - either way, FOLX Health will need to believe (and execute) on its mission despite the external noise. (September 2023)
