About the Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack at Headspace:
Headspace is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to join its Web Acquisition Team and be responsible for building out great web experiences and expanding access to and monetizing the audiences that Headspace can serve via D2C and SMB Channels. As part of this team, you'll be tasked with prototyping, architecting, and executing on the creation of our enterprise platform, and be integral in the platform's continued growth. We are open to both full stack or back end focused candidates.
Being on the engineering team, you’ll be working on a product that impacts more than 65M users. You will help us bring new features to life to meet our mission, while also helping push our platform to newer technologies as we embrace the cutting edge. Headspace is one of the original darlings of the digital mental health space, rising rapidly to prominence even before the COVID-19 pandemic. The name is virtually synonomous with the mental health space, enabling its growth across both the consumer and enterprise space. However, their huge initial successes do not make them immune to larger economic forces - see the recent layoffs at Headspace and across the industry. After achieving such massive scale, one has to hope they can make the transition to an enduring company in healthcare considering how many shortfalls in mental health continue to exist.
