About the****Remote Licensed Therapist (1099 Contractor) role at Headspace:
Headspace is currently seeking part-time, independently licensed contractor therapists to provide direct, virtual care as part of a multidisciplinary team. We are currently accepting applications from providers licensed in LOUISIANA
Contractor therapists are asked to offer a minimum of 5 sessions/week, with the flexibility to offer additional sessions when needed. More is always welcome depending on your schedule. Please note that due to care demand and member scheduling fluctuations, it could take a number of weeks to achieve a consistent schedule.
The pay rate ranges vary by state and currently starts at $72-$77 per session for the state of LOUISIANA. Pay rates by state will be confirmed by recruiter during the interview process. Session length is 60 min for an intake and 45 min for a follow up appointment, with concurrent note-taking expected and included in the session rate. The name is virtually synonomous with the mental health space, enabling its growth across both the consumer and enterprise space. However, their huge initial successes do not make them immune to larger economic forces - see the recent layoffs at Headspace and across the industry. After achieving such massive scale, one has to hope they can make the transition to an enduring company in healthcare considering how many shortfalls in mental health continue to exist.
