The Real Dill ☘️
The simplest way to describe Healthie's ambition is to be the "Stripe" of virtual patient care - software, ecosystem, payments, and more. This puts it in the competitive crossroads of other smaller and larger EMR companies (like Epic), but with a digital-first twist to scheduling, data infrastructure, etc. Depending on what you read, over a quarter of the patient visits could be virtual by 2030, and laying claim to the infrastructure for this massive workflow migration is a huge opportunity. Tons of virtual care startups use this service - let's see if they can displace Epic in the traditional healthcare space as well. But, it's opportunity is more than just EMR - as a data company, it's also got its eyes set on reducing administrative burden by building an entire ecosystem, a gigantic opportunity for additional growth.
