About the Role

The Crisis Provider is a healthcare provider who plays an integral role in patient safety and risk mitigation, and is responsible for supporting and carrying out the Medical Escalation process for all patients on the Hims & Hers platform. The Crisis Provider will manage escalations, including those related to side effects from prescribed platform medications as well as mental health escalations. This role will manage escalated telehealth patients by taking immediate action to help de-escalate and defuse situations while providing exceptional patient care and follow-up. This role reports directly to the Medical Director of You Health and participates as an active team member focused on safe clinical quality and performance improvement. This is a highly collaborative and cross-functional role, and this team member will work extensively with the Hims & Hers Customer Support, Telemedicine, Legal, and Medical Affairs teams to develop effective and scalable processes to ensure a world-class experience for both patients & providers.
