One of the biggest success stories in digital musculoskeletal (MSK) care, Hinge Health rode the employee benefits market to growth, finding a way to circumvent traditionally restrictive insurance adoption and reimbursement schemes. However, some national bodies have expressed concerns at digital health startups potentially using unlicensed professionals to perform "physical therapy", a potentially huge red flag.
