What You’ll Do
As a Renal Service Coordinator (RSC), you will play a key role in assisting patients to access essential medical services and connect individuals to vital community resources through each stage of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). You will collaborate with patients, care teams, insurance providers, physicians, community resources, and vendors to improve health outcomes.
Essential Functions:
- Locate providers that accept patient’s insurance and new patients.
- Schedule appointments with providers and efficiently coordinate patient care.
- Coordinate access to durable medical equipment.

According to the National Kidney Foundation (US), Medicare spends approximately $153 billion – more than 24 percent of total spending – on patients with kidney disease; end stage kidney disease, which affects only 1 percent of Medicare beneficiaries, accounts for 7 percent of Medicare spending alone.
