Summary
The Senior Software Engineer, Backend will be responsible for building and maintaining the complex systems that enable our products to scale and provide the maximum value to our customers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the freedom to work autonomously and take ownership of projects within our platform and product stack and you will have a profound impact on our foundational technologies. Our Senior Software Engineers enjoy solving problems, helping others become better versions of themselves, and are eager to dive in and learn new things.

Speak to any clinic owner or hospital admin, and you'll hear about the challenges surrounding reimbursement - denials of service, reductions in reimbursement rates, and tighter and tighter budgets. Traditionally a manual process, companies like Janus AI are using tech to automate the process and, hopefully, help systems get paid at a lower cost to collect. There are quite a few competitors in this space right now signifying how important revenue lifecycle optimization is for care organizations but one has to wonder - which company will win? Or, what happens if EMR systems like Epic, which are already integrated into thousands of care facilities, decide to throw millions (or billions) of dollars at the opportunity? (November 2023)
