The Real Dill ☘️
Business models in physical therapy are undergoing a renaissance. A decade ago, it was cash pay. Five years ago, it was telehealth. Today, there are a number of players emerging who are reimagining home health physical therapy, traditionally the environment for patients not well enough to go to outpatient services, but ineligible for hospital admission or skilled nursing. The nuance: reimbursement is much higher for home health therapy than telehealth, creating more financial leeway than its telehealth cousins.
