About the Role
As an Account Director at Medallion, you will serve as the dedicated liaison for our largest customers. Medical licensure is a huge soure of friction for many parties - clinicians who have to track continuing education and practice requirements for renewals, traditional healthcare organizations who have to manage licensure for hundreds (or thousands) of staff to maintain operations and patient treatment workflows, and even startups (especially those founded by non-clinicians) who don't realize that each the US doesn't have a national licensure agreement - each state requires an individual state license to practice. Enter Medallion's interesting software solution - tracking continuing education (CE) and licensure requirements for healthcare organizations across fifty states. There is natural growth potential here - CE tracking, goal setting, CE recommendations, etc; medical licensure isn't going away - I doubt we'll enter the age where patients will be happy to see unlicensed doctors, nurses, and clinicians for healthcare needs. Medallion is sitting in an incredible sweet spot - one any licensed clinician can relate to. (September 2023)
