Position Overview

According to MedSien, 150 million Americans have a chronic condition, comprising 90% of healthcare's costs. As you can probably tell, healthcare diagnosis and treatment is rarely straightforward. Patients, especially as they age, continue to present with a variety of comorbidities, polypharmacy, and environmental factors that help transform medical practice into an art form rather than a strict, workflow-based science. You can imagine the challenges managing more and more complex patients as the levels of patient complexity scale, which is part of the problem that MedSien is trying to solve using AI to support remote patient monitoring. As the aging population continues to grow in the US, solutions like MedSien could become more and more common as ways to help automate and clarify decision making in primary care and beyond.
