The Opportunity: Midi Health islooking for a Credentialing Specialist (Contractor) to help set a foundation and establish best practice workflows as it relates to our Credentialing and Payor Enrollment efforts.  This role (reporting to the Senior Manager of Licensing & Credentialing) will drive projects related to credentialing and payor/provider enrollment. The Credentialing Specialist (Contractor) will be responsible for submitting/ following up on payor enrollment applications for providers, responding to payor and/or partner requests, and maintaining documentation related to licensing and credentialing. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise regarding licensing and credentialing to internal stakeholders, including timely responses and status updates as needed
• Submit accurate and timely provider enrollment applications to health plans
• Drive enrollment of Midi Health providers with contracted health plans
• Coordinate organized follow up efforts to ensure providers are enrolled properly with payors
• Investigate and address any credentialing-related billing issues accordingly
• Liaison between third-party vendors and Midi Health providers
• Additional duties and ad hoc projects as needed
