Description The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking Full-Time and Per Diem Hospitalists for Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside, NY! The successful candidate will manage and provide the clinical care of patients assigned to Hospitalist Services through the entire continuum of hospital care including, but not limited to seeing patients in the ER, on the unit, following them to the critical care unit. Hospitalist shall be responsible to ensure that each patient assigned to the service receives medically appropriate level of care on 24/7 basis. Coordinates discharge planning with the patient, family members, and care manager/discharge planner.
