Description The Mount Sinai Department of Neurology is seeking enthusiastic applicants for an exciting inpatient neurology opportunity. This part-time/per diem position involves inpatient general neurology work within the New York City based Mount Sinai Health System, where you will provide high quality care for patients with a broad range of complex neurological diseases and neurological manifestations of systemic illness. Acute stroke and neurovascular diseases are not included in this role, as these are separately managed by our world-class Stroke Team. You will frequently collaborate with our superb neurosurgical and neurological subspecialists (particularly in epilepsy and stroke). There is an opportunity to participate in cutting-edge teleneurology coverage for interested candidates. Finally, given the Department’s close connection with the Icahn School of Medicine and multiple residency and fellowship training programs, teaching opportunities may be available for qualified and interested candidates, although this is not a requirement.
