Description Mount Sinai South Nassau is currently seeking a Chair of Psychiatry! The Chair will work to ensure that mental health services are developed and managed in accordance with MSSN’s mission, strategic direction and business position. The Chair of Psychiatry will direct activities of the mental health staff and ensure that mental health services are delivered in accordance with Mount Sinai South Nassau’s policies and procedures, New York State regulations and guidelines, funder guidelines, and established best practices in mental health. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include overseeing clinician recruitment, supervision of all clinical care, as well as leading quality improvement. Additional responsibilities include regulatory preparedness, and adherence to the standards of various certifying agencies as well as working with hospital and health system leadership to optimize and improve care for all patients in behavioral health.
