Waste Management Job title: Maintenance A2 Job Description: Overall cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing and replenishment of soap, paper products, etc. Roles & Responsibilities: Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, and restores dispensers with soap and paper products. Removes trash, relines trash containers, and cleans receptacles if required. Dusts mops and damp mops floors in patients rooms. Vacuums, damp mops and shampoos carpeted floors including corridors. Stocks patient room with other items such as hospital literature, towels, admission kits and other related items. Stocks floor deliveries in the proper storage areas. Empties needle boxes; Replaces soiled draperies; Cleans patient refrigerators; Cleans rooms upon patient discharge; Dusts high surfaces (above shoulder height). Covers for Maintenance C employees when necessary in the cleaning of offices, the day room and ancillary areas.
