Description Licensed Air Conditioning Engineer-Mount Sinai West Inspects, operates, maintains, and repairs Central Plant equipment such as cooling towers pumps, fans, engines, generators, turbines, liquid chillers, compressors and compressed air systems, vacuum systems, heating and ventilating equipment, emergency power generation and distribution systems and related auxiliary equipment via hand and or computerized controls. Performs tests, submits reports, and documents all work and activities. Performs all related duties as assigned by the A/C Foreman, Assistant Engineering Director or Engineering Director. Responsibilities 1.Operates and regulates chilled water generation equipment and all related systems. 2. Operates and maintains cooling towers, chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, make-up water pumps, domestic water pumps, sump pumps, ejector pumps, fire pumps, system strainers, chemical feeders and blow downs. 3. Works closely with the Plant Engineers and other staff as required. 4. Utilizes BAS and other operator computerized controls systems to make adjustments and monitor system operation. ·5.
