Description Nurse's Aide-Rehab-Full Time-Day-Mount Sinai Queens Under the supervision of a licensed Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist, the Rehabilitation Aide / Transporter assists in the treatment of patients, performs general non-technical duties such as: positioning, lifting, transferring and transporting patients; maintains equipment and facility, performs duties in a manner that is consistent with Patient First Service Standards. As a member of the Rehab Department, the Rehab Aide / Transporter will provide the necessary assistance in either the acute care setting or in the outpatient setting, as needed. Responsibilities Transport patients to and from rooms / treatment areas and support department as directed by the supervisory therapist or director of department. Assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and / or from bed, chairs, wheelchairs or stretchers. Assist clinical personnel in positioning patients in or on equipment, devices or treatment tables.
