Description Business Manager, Operating Room Suite, Mount Sinai West - Full Time The Business Manager has oversight of all financial and related activities for a Perioperative department or division. Manages departmental charge capture, staffing payroll reconciliation, BCR reports, and financial office. Should be able to gather and analyze Perioperative Data from multiple sources (e.g. budget department, clinical operations, and patient satisfaction) to extract trends and business insights. Responsibilities Responsible for financial analysis and creation of reports as requested by department Director of Business or VP as applicable. Ensures that the day-to-day financial operations of the department, center or unit, including payroll, month-end reporting, accounts payable activities are handled. The gathering and integrating data from disparate sources for productivity, compliance and profit/loss reports Evaluate and preprocess raw information Delve into data to discover discrepancies and patterns Present and explain information in an accessible way (eg.
