Description Echocardiograph Technician-Crescent CVI-Per Diem-Day-Mount Sinai Queens Performs echocardiograms and exercise stress tests of a non-invasive nature. Maintains a high level of professional expertise to obtain consistent and accurate diagnostic information. Generally works with an echocardiogram nurse, an exercise technician and an ultrasound technician. Responsibilities Performs echocardiograms and exercise stress tests of a non-invasive nature. Reviews test results with physicians, colleagues and students, and makes appropriate documentation. Assists in maintenance of supply inventory and requests all necessary supplies for test area. Prepares monthly statistical reports on tests performed, volume, etc., as requested. Qualifications Education: Completion of an accredited Echocardiograph Technician course of study. Experience: 1 year of echocardiography experience preferred.
