Description The Program Coordinator I is responsible for providing administrative, operational and programmatic support services to an assigned program area. The Program provides a specific service or carries out specific activities as a separate entity or as a component program within a department, but is not a department itself. A Program is ongoing, but may have a business cycle Responsibilities 1. Supervises front office and medical support staff who handle patient intake, patient records and charts, coding and billing preparation, appointments and schedules, facility, equipment and inventory maintenance, etc. 2. Ensures that office management meets and contributes to Quality Assurance standards 3. Controlling cash expenditures in accordance with approved operations budget, by representing the department in arranging and supervising purchases and contracted services, part-time practitioners and other vendors, and supervising the execution of purc 4.
