Description The Nurse Manager collaborates with multiple professionals to support and coordinate the provision / management of patient care. This individual works closely with the Nursing Clinical Director, unit Dyad partner and staff in insuring that the Service/Unit setting maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of the patient & family as well as the organization. Responsibilities The Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations in the emergency department. Responsible for the oversight of a 50-bed, level 2 emergency department with approximately 70K patient visits per year. MSW Emergency Department offers services in pediatric, adult, neurology, maternal child health, and emergency care.
