Description To perform radiographic examinations on patients referred by physicians in accordance with Radiology protocols. Responsibilities 1. Performs Specialized procedures. 2. Performs CT Scan procedures. 3. Operates all radiographic imaging equipment associated with Special Procedures, Computed Tomography, and General Diagnostic, including but not limited to image intensifiers, monitors, injectors, and angiographic tables. 4. Applies the necessary technical judgment to obtain studies of an acceptable diagnostic quality according to written protocols and the patient’s needs. 5. Provides Leadership and direction to support personnel in the absence of a supervisor. 6. Delegates responsibility to staff as appropriate. 7. Coordinates breaks and meal times. 8. Assists in orientation of Staff Technologists. 9. Allocates work to the technologist. 10. Prepares patients with aseptic solutions and sterile drapes. 11. Assists in preparation of sterile surgical instruments and supplies needed for all Special Procedure examinations. 12.
