Description Multimodality Tech - Staten Island Multispecialty - Full Time - Day - OFFSITE Under general supervision of licensed physicians, performs and/or assists in performing all MRI examinations in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures. Sets up, adjusts, and operates CT equipment, selecting proper technical factors to obtain accurate CT studies; properly positions and immobilized patients. Responds to patients’ needs as required. Maintains cleanliness of equipment and general working area, stocking clinical supplies. Ensures proper operation of CT equipment. Provides care to patients of all age groups in the form of diagnostic testing. Responsibilities Under supervision of physicians, prepares patients and examination areas in accordance with department policies and procedures for administration, as appropriate, of all CT examinations. Sets up, cleans and adjusts CT equipment. Observes equipment safety precautions both for equipment maintenance and patient and employee well-being.
