Description Under the direction of the Financial Manager, the Data Entry Specialist I receives, collects, reviews and enters data into a computer system or tracking database. Ensures accuracy of all data recorded and verifies that the information is complete. May provide basic reports and be a resource for other staff members Responsibilities Prepare billing invoices for grants, clinical trials, and other revenue. Update and maintain Finance tracker for all activities Reconcile clinical trials trackers Assists with the regular preparation of reports, and communicate with sponsors to collect outstanding payments. May ensure that grants, clinical trials and other revenue and expense driven projects are properly monitored and timely reports are prepared. May prepare a transmittal of instructions for checks and cash which accompanies these instruments to the main cashier or Finance for deposit and credit to the appropriate account. Prepare and submit purchase orders, contracts, invoices, check requests, petty cash vouchers, travel requests and travel vouchers, fund transfers as necessary. ...
