Description

Description The Clinical Research Program Director is responsible for administrative, operational and business oversight of human subjects research in assigned department(s). Collaborates with the Principal Investigator (P.I.) in review of grants, preparing and negotiating clinical trials care delivery, patient eligibility, project oversight, budgets, staffing and related human resources activity. Responsibilities Collaborates with members of the clinical health care team in program development, consultation, and the planning and delivery of optimal unit operations and clinical services. Establishes goals and objectives for all ongoing human subjects research projects, consistent with Mount Sinai Health System policies as well as Federal, State and local regulations. Directs the preparation of grants and IRB paperwork, financial activity and contracts. Facilitates timely and responsive communication and proactive responsible decision making. Arranges for the availability of human and material resources to facilitate positive outcomes for ongoing research projects.
