Description Transports patients and deliver materials/equipment throughout the Hospital including loading and unloading trucks, skids and carts in the receiving area Responsibilities Follows prescribed or special procedures, instructions and reports any delays, difficulties or unusual situations Edits and batches receipts for all goods received on orders from the Hospital Support Center Runs regular and unscheduled errands throughout the hospital center in accordance with hospital needs, including pick up and delivery of mail, specimens, and medical records, reports, admitting materials, equipment, supplies, messages and flowers Stocks supplies on Patient Care Units, places in allotted space and performs FIFO stock rotation Checks sterile supplies expiration date and rotates inventory upon making delivery Checks and replaces all emergency equipment Sorts and delivers mail according to current knowledge of Postal System, including boxing, delivering and picking up mail and packages throughout the hospital Keeps work area neat and clean Picks up and distributes packages, cartons, and equipment from the receiving dock Takes part ...
