Description Coordinates the day to day clerical/secretarial operations in the assigned departments. Responsible for day to day screening activities at the hospital. Responsibilities 1. Meets with parents to schedule newborns for screenings 2. Provides screening results to parents 3. Completes paperwork as required as per state and hospital regulations 4. Liaison between MD's, audiologist and screening coordinator 5. Informs the new mother about the hearing screening program and answers all questions 6. Appropriately refers questions to audiologist regarding the "Pass refer" outcome 7. Obtains medical records, reports, etc. 8. Coordinates/prepares daily schedule, this includes verifying schedules at St. Luke's and Roosevelt 9. Manages/maintains inventory of infant hearing screening program supplies. Assists with budget prep 10. Assists coordinator and manager with the QI necessary to meet the New York state standards 11.
