Description Addiction Institute of Mount Sinai is recruiting a Clinical Psychologist for a full-time position. As a member of the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Adult Ambulatory Psychiatry at Mount Sinai West, the full-time Psychologist will provide direct clinical services (including intakes, individual and group psychotherapy) to a diverse population of patients age 18+ in an outpatient OASAS licensed clinic serving the Mount Sinai West Community. Responsibilities Evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and crisis intervention Provision of care in an interpersonally and culturally sensitive manner Timely documentation of care in accordance with NYS OASAS standards and best practices Assistance with quality assurance and improvement activities Teach and supervise psychology/psychiatry trainees Performance other job-related responsibilities as requested A commitment to addressing the social determinants of health and antiracism in clinical practice Academic status The position entails academic appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
