Description The Psychology Intern is a learning position in which the Intern conducts intake evaluations, individual, group and family therapy and counseling under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. Responsibilities 1. Assist as treatment team members in evaluation, treatment planning and treatment on inpatient units or evaluation services when rotating in these areas. 2. Assist outpatient Ambulatory Mental Health Clinic team by conducting intake evaluations and participating in case disposition and treatment planning process. 3. Perform individual, group, couple or family psychotherapy under supervision in various outpatient clinics in the Department of Psychiatry. 4. Perform psychological, neuropsychological, and diagnostic testing under supervision with both inpatient and outpatient populations. 5. Attend and participate in training courses, seminars and case conferences. 6. Provide assistance in gathering diagnostic and other data from patients in research protocols.
