Description Responsible for providing administrative, operational, and financial support under the direction of the Inpatient Operations team within an inpatient service at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Coordinator collaborates closely with physician and nursing leadership within service to assist with daily operations and service-specific needs. Responsibilities Assists Inpatient Operations Service Leader with operational activities, including activities related to daily operations and environment of care. Submits requests to appropriate ancillary departments to facilitate resolution of environmental concerns in patient care areas. Supports Inpatient Operations Service Leader with preparations for facility projects and renovation projects to minimize the impact on hospital operations and patient experience. Assists with ongoing initiatives on various topics, including: operational improvement, regulatory compliance, patient experience, technology and digital engagement, communication, and supply chain. Supports purchasing process for capital and non-capital items, including submission of financial transactions, vendor management, and payment confirmation.
