Description Position Title: Paralegal-Contract Lifecycle Management Office (CLM)-Legal Department-Mount Sinai Hospital-Full Time-Days Position Summary: The Paralegal performs legal research, analyzes legal opinions and/or prepares legal documents. Drafts affidavits, contracts and other legal documents and reviews documents and ensures the confidentiality of privileged materials and information. Responsibilities Assist in-house counsel with managing the contract management system while adhering to institutional policies, including, but not limited to: o facilitating the archiving of contracts in the contract management software; o training end-users and providing technical and operational support; o providing contract analytics and reporting, as requested, utilizing the contracts management software. Collaborate with business owners and various responsible departments within the health system to ensure that contracts are reviewed and stored securely in accordance with the institution’s contracts policy, including, but not limited to: o working with various departments to understand their current state of contract management; o responding to inquiries regarding routing of contracts to appropriate departments; o maintaining the list ...
