Description The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, through its affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, is seeking a part time (16 hours per week) Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our expanding team. The department is focused on growing its orthognathic practice and is launching bone regeneration and implantology services. Elmhurst Hospital Center is a 545-bed tertiary care facility and an ACS-verified level 1 trauma center in the ethnically diverse borough of Queens, NY. Responsibilities Responsibilities Provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care to patients, including but not limited to orthognathic, bone regeneration and implantology procedures. Supervise and mentor oral and maxillofacial residents and students within the clinic, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment. Responsible for utilizing operating room privileges to perform complex procedures and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
