Description Provides ongoing evaluation and treatment or research under the direct supervision of a licensed MD or Ph.D. Under supervision, postdoctoral fellows will co-lead training seminars as well. Responsibilities Current research areas of interest include: (1) mining the effects of drugs on cardiovascular disease and related cardiometabolic traits using electronic health records; (2) polygenic risk scoring analysis for disease; (3) genetic discovery using genome-wide association and exome/genome sequencing datasets; amongst other research areas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on large-scale cutting-edge sequencing, genotyping, and functional data in large-scale biobank datasets. The successful candidate for this position will lead projects that should broadly fit within the lab’s overall research goals. Lab members will benefit from collaborations with neighboring labs in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health, the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences, and the Charles Bronfman Institute for Personalized Medicine.
