Description The Mount Sinai Health System’s Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health is seeking a Neuropsychologist with a focus on Neurodegenerative Disease! The Mount Sinai Health System’s Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health is seeking a neuropsychologist with expertise in neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, including but not limited to Alzheimer’s disease, dementia with Lewy body disease, and frontotemporal dementia. The candidate will be proficient in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive function and aid in differential diagnosis. The role will involve outpatient neuropsychological assessments and interdisciplinary collaboration with behavioral neurologists, neurology fellows, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other specialists. Responsibilities The neuropsychologist will actively participate in our multidisciplinary case conferences, presenting assessment findings and contributing to patient care planning. There will also be opportunities to engage in research, including investigations into cognitive and neurological functioning, disease mechanisms, and clinical interventions.
